Due to exciting growth, we are actively seeking an experienced and proactive Mech Fitter and Trade Assistant to join our site-based team for our Rockhampton project.
The successful candidate would be required to work Monday to Friday 7am-5pm (and an occasional Saturday).
The Role: Key Responsibilities:
Working at Heights EWP Tickets (preferred but not essential) Fit up pipe work to engineered drawings Ability to read fabrication & isometric drawings Work well within a team Skilled Trades Assistant:
Previous experience working on construction sites Basic mechanical installation knowledge and understanding of tools and equipment commonly used Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, drilling, and grinding Experience with form setting / form working and grouting (cementitious and epoxy grouts) EWP and WAH ticket Rigging/Dogman ticket is preferred but not essential Work well within a team Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: Relevant trade certificate - Fitter Rigger/Dogman ticket or experience with rigging is desired Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifically for vendor supplied mechanical plant - Fitter Have a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Previous experience in wastewater treatment plants (preferred but not necessary) Experience working in and around local sites Construction card/White card required Working at Heights ticket required Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team Attention to detail and producing quality work Rockingham locals preferred, or surrounding regions Benefits of working with Pructon:
