As the Senior Land Services Officer - Land Management, you will have the opportunity to work with rural landholders and stakeholders to provide advice and approvals in the Northern Tablelands region. The advice you provide will be related to native vegetation best practice and legislative requirements. We’re looking for people to join the team – people who are passionate about the management of native vegetation on rural land. Our team are keen to make a difference by working with landholders to deliver land management outcomes.
Want the basics? To be successful in the role you will need;
Qualifications in Land Management, Natural Resource Management and/or Agriculture
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the above fields
Ability to provide timely, accurate advice to our customers and to interpret complex legislation
Have experience using GIS systems, content manager databases and/or identifying flora & fauna
Demonstrated interest in native vegetation management and/or agricultural productivity projects
Proven experience in leading projects, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work from one of the specified locations and undertake field-based work as required.
