About your opportunity: Permanent full-time / Location: Townsville The Occupational Therapist - Senior will: Provide flexible mental health assessment and treatment to adults with mental health difficulties living in the community within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment. Provide short, medium and long-term case management so that various services and supports are provided in a coordinated and collaborative manner. Provide profession specific services and consultation as required within the team and the Mental Health Service Group. All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service. ( ) Role Requirements: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia is required. Registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency and possession of current practising certificate. Possession of relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy would be well regarded for a position at this level. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded. Possession of class C drivers' licence.
