Job Details: Job Summary This position is responsible for leading the delivery of IT services to the customer. This position is integral to managing the customer relationship and growing customer business.This position typically exercises discretionary and substantial decision-making authority under limited supervision and direction. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as a business leader Provide strategic direction on the training schedule to understand customer growth requirements and capture these for use by the team Review requests from the customer to ensure they are within scope of relevant contracts. Negotiates terms as required Ensure that all SLA and KPI measures are met for activities undertaken by teams, and ensure continual improvement tasks are undertaken by teams Ensure availability, performance and capacity management is in place for all key systems and solutions Ownership of asset lifecycle and configuration management of customer environments Ensure system business continuity and disaster recovery plans and work instructions exist for the key systems and solutions Actively identifies unstated customer requirements (pain points) and champions these requirements Provide recommendations for improvement regarding systems and architectures General Duties and Responsibilities Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures Other duties as requested Minimum Job RequirementsQualifications Essential University degree, or equivalent education and experience, in software, electrical, mechanical, or system engineering or other related technical discipline Skills/Experience/Knowledge Essential: A minimum of eight years’ experience in supporting systems and solutions in a complex IT environment Desirable: Prior experience in the same industry Knowledge and use of Prince2, Agile or PMBOK project management methodologies ITIL trained Personal Qualities Self-motivated Attention to detail and adherence to procedures Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with an ability to negotiate and interact with all levels of internal and external organisations Able to work well in the face of tight deadlines and tough technical challenges Good consulting and problem-solving skills Prompt, responsive, responsible and friendly approach to customer problems Ability to rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of Cubic application Ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks Condition of Employment Successful outcome of a National Police CheckThe description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
