The Role
Manage information and records management activities in accordance with the Archives Act 1983, relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures. Manage a team and allocate resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes. Liaise with stakeholders in relation to sometimes complex or difficult issues involving a considerable level of engagement. Manage the participation of Space Command in a series of sometimes high profile, high visibility events and activities, including but not limited to Conferences, Visits and Showcases etc. Support JCG MECC team to provide specialist advice on the design, development and implementation of a range of internal and external communication and media products and activities.

* Engaging and communicating with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
* Demonstrate and apply the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to provide advice and services for a range of complex to very complex activities.
* Design, develop and implement a range of internal and external communication products and activities.
