Bunbury Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher to join their team.
About the Role
The successful applicant will ideally have displayed an ability to achieve excellent outcomes for students, along with experience in linking student learning to real world experiences to develop potential pathways beyond school. Previous experience or qualifications to teach in the Gifted and Talented program will be highly regarded.
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following attributes:
1. interpersonal skills and capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
2. capacity to build good relationships with all staff, students, and parents
3. commitment to our school’s instructional framework
4. have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, being able to deliver content in an engaging manner
5. data analysis skills and evidence-based planning to improve results for all students

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
