The role has been created to support multiple business units across the business nationally through providing strategic business insights and commercial advice to assist the management team in reaching their business goals.
Key Tasks Include:
Prepare, review, analyse and distribute financial data and reports to the management team.
Review all stock adjustment/valuation, accruals, WIP valuation and Wages, to ensure accurate and robust transactional control.
Manage and oversee all stocks reconciliations, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Ensure minimised risks in stock variances and take proper actions on stock gains or losses.
Manage and deliver on operational budget and forecast.
Supply chain and Procurement reporting and analysis.
Support business to develop capital expenditure plans, ensuring they are financially sound and deliverable.
Prepare feasibility analysis for CAPEX projects and assist in subsequent measurement and control.
Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements and work with management to implement.
Business partner to site management.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Manage to provide detail and in-depth analysis on business performances, not limited to financial performances.
Provide local and senior management insights on how the business performs and identify areas and opportunities to improve.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business.
About You:
Will hold a professional Accounting qualification.
Comes from a commercial industry background such as FMCG, Retail, consumer products or manufacturing.
Is proven at helping non-financial stakeholders reach their business goals.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Can bring their technical accounting skills to best understand the impact on business strategy.
Has strong MS Excel skills and prior experience with a large ERP (preferred).
