Our client is a large Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director Strategy for a casual temporary assignment until end of December 2025.
About the role:
* Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for strategic projects.
* Developing fact-based quantitative and qualitative analysis including modelling in Microsoft Excel.
* Creating materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board, and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations, and implications for the Agency.
* Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment to enable successful implementation.
* Developing content to embed change, including authorship of policy papers and guidance materials.
* Collaborating with and supporting business areas to structure problems, inform options, and drive solutions and Agency-wide priorities.
About you:

* You will have a good track record of significant contribution to strategic projects that deliver insightful and actionable recommendations.
* You will have experience of working with complex cross-functional teams.
* You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work at all levels across the organisation.
Benefits:
* ASAP start pending clearance.
* Casual temporary assignment until 31st December 2025.
* $602.55 per day plus super.
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
* Geelong, Richmond, Sydney, and Adelaide locations.
