We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Adult Therapy Team.
This is an ongoing role, with the successful candidate working 4-5 days per week (minimum 30 hours per week).
The Team Leader works as part of the leadership team to drive a positive team environment and Icarian culture, helping ensure Icaria is an inclusive and great place to work.
The Team Leader is responsible for supporting team members who deliver interventions to those aged >16 years and their families/significant others.
The Team Leader takes a lead role in ensuring service delivery is client centred, evidence based and reflective of best practice standards and ensures services are continually improved and adapted to meet the needs of clients, their families, and the wider community.
Role Objectives Ensure that all members of the Icarian Adult Therapy Team are having a great experience.Ensure that all participants, and their significant others are reporting service satisfaction.Collaborate kindly and efficiently with Icarians, including with therapists, the administration team and the management team.Contribute to Icaria Health's organisational growth, reputation and business development.To achieve these objectives, your day-to-day role will include:
Assisting in the management of day-to-day operations such as supporting the team, working with the administration team, facilitating conflict resolution, managing multiple deadlines, and engaging with stakeholders.Driving a positive team environment and Icaria's values-based culture.Providing support to therapists to optimise individual growth and development.Coordinating team meetings, professional development programs, intake and work allocations.Regularly reviewing current service offerings to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the Albury/Wodonga community and identifying and implementing new services as required.Working alongside the leadership team to set team goals and strategic direction and contribute to business development.Assist in the management of incidents, feedback, and audits.Facilitate continuous improvement, and research to develop and improve Icaria Health and its services.Option to manage a small client caseload tailored to individual strengths and passion areas if desired.About Us: Icaria Health provides allied health services to the aged care, community, disability, and commercial sectors of the Border region.
