About the role: The purpose of this position is to support the day-to-day management of the log supply chain by helping ensure that delivery information is accurate, compliance performance is maximised through assistance to the Bathurst Haulage and Sales Function for logistics specification management and customer satisfaction is high through appropriately balanced stakeholder liaison. We would love you to have:Experience in financial system administration or administration more broadly.Some understanding and practical knowledge of supply chain activities, preferably in the forestry industry with log products. However, other relevant experience in quality control, delivery management and sales are welcome.Comfort with operating computers and mobile devices, particularly the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.Interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and negotiate effectively with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes under pressure.A willingness to be involved in haulage and sales administration both in an office setting and in the field. Field locations are typically on well-formed, unsealed roads in a rural, forest setting and the individual would have to often work independently. Training will be provided to the successful candidate to support them in the role.The ability to undertake active frontline firefighting duties and be available for afterhours fire standby on a rostered basis.
