About the Role:
We have various positions available: Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties, Cooks, and Kitchenhands. As a member of our kitchen team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals that reflect the unique spirit of Australia.
* Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
* Exceed guest expectations by delivering memorable dining experiences.
* Establish and uphold meticulous food standards, ensuring compliance with Food Safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to address any shortcomings and maintain impeccable hygiene practices.
* Cultivate a vibrant, positive work environment that inspires learning and fosters continuous improvement.
* Partner with other departments to elevate the overall guest experience.
* Manage inventory like a pro, keeping the kitchen fully stocked while minimising waste and championing sustainability initiatives.
This is a remote position, and you'll be required to live and work at one of our properties for the entire season. We provide all meals and accommodation.
About You:
The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced environment, showcasing creativity and teamwork while igniting a shared love for food that will wow our guests.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience working in a remote area is an advantage; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and holding a Food Safety Supervisor certificate is desirable.
* Remote First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Proficiency in basic computer skills is beneficial.
A National Criminal History Check is a mandatory step in the recruitment process.
