Westpac Group offers a range of opportunities for people who want to make a difference, speak their truth and grow their career! We have a superb opportunity for a Personal Banker to join us at our Horsham branch.
As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will be at the heart of our mission to help customers make the most of their money. This is a sales-based customer service role which will see you engage with customers both in-branch and over the phone – connecting them with the most suitable banking products to fulfil their current and future financial needs. You will drive sales through referrals to our specialists in Home Loans and Business Banking, as well as coach customers on our digital banking offering.
The Hours
This is a branch-based role covering Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 4pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30pm.
What will I need to succeed?
Banking experience is ideal, but not essential – your high-performer energy and unique ability to gauge and nurture strong customer relationships will be key to driving your success in this role.
Experience in a customer-facing / sales environment.
Resilience, tenacity, and an ability to flex – no two days and no two customers are ever the same!
A proven ability to meet and exceed performance KPIs with an uncompromising commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service.
Comfortable when working with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems.
No banking experience? No problem. At Westpac, we’re committed to your success from day one.
