Job Title: Electronics Technician
Location: Malaga, WA
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our client’s team, responsible for assembling, servicing, and repairing electrical components to ensure timely completion of Electrical devices. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high productivity and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment related to Electrical devices manufacturing, including servicing, calibrating, and testing devices.
* Assemble electrical components according to specifications, ensuring all features are accurately provided.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and maintain accurate records of all electronic components fitted and service times.
* Fault-find, test, and repair electrical components to ensure they meet quality standards before delivery.
* Provide customer quotations upon request and maintain high productivity levels to meet or exceed targets.
* Control and maintain assembly stock storage and ensure a clean and orderly workshop.
* Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses, and participate in safety training and initiatives.
* Operate tools and equipment in compliance with safety standards and maintain ISO 9001 quality certification.
Skills and Experience:
* 1 year of electronics assembly experience with an understanding of electrical circuits in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
* Ability to learn technical knowledge and follow procedures effectively.
* Demonstrated safe use of electrical assembly hand and power tools.
* Strong time management skills with attention to detail, especially in repetitive tasks.
* Effective communication skills across all organisational levels.
* Basic computer skills and ability to build internal working relationships to foster a positive work culture.
