Health & Allied Services Agreement KG4 - $31.35 per hour (excludes allowances)
An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and highly motivated applicants to join our busy hospital attendant team. A Hospital Attendant undertakes a range of duties and functions including patient transport, courier services, specialist and general cleaning and other relevant duties as instructed.
We have casual opportunities available. Casual positions are used to backfill shifts and do not include regular hours; evening and weekend availability is essential. We offer a friendly, team-focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, and free car parking.
Required skills and experience include:
* Ability to work within a team environment, or independently as required.
* Ability to work under supervision and take direction.
* Ability to manage own workload, handling multiple tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Commitment to ensuring that a patient’s dignity is respected at all times.
* Attend shifts as rostered to ensure hospital services are maintained on a 7 day per week, 24 hours per day basis.
* Demonstrate flexibility and be willing to undertake a variety of duties within the daily routine.
* Porter/Cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential.
* Experience in customer service, hospitality, and security roles would also be highly regarded.

The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
