Regional Sales Manager, Southern Region

Leading a regional sales team, you will support strategies developed at a national business unit level that promote growth within the Companion Animal Business Unit with key veterinary and retail customers.
What You Will Do
* Lead the activities of a regional sales team.
* Lead a sales-oriented culture and implement routine training and coaching processes to maximise selling expertise.
* Implement team territory planning processes, including segmentation and best practice implementation of marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate with the National Business Unit and Commercial Effectiveness team to identify and measure key sales team metrics.
* Develop and regularly review territory account and geographical responsibilities.
* Build and coach sales team in business acumen to optimise territory management planning and targeting against segmentation to maximise customer interactions and account outcomes.
* Lead the servicing of nominated Veterinary Wholesale accounts and/or buying groups at a state office level and implement quarterly business reviews with key customers.
* Maintain and report on market trends, competitor’s activities, and other market information.
What You Must Have
* Tertiary qualification in Business or similar field.
* Significant experience in sales management roles in related markets or industries.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills.
* Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in building strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
* Good management skills including analytical skills, time management, objective setting, and budget preparation.
* Highly developed skills in negotiating and influencing.
* Proficiency with CRM systems.
* Ability to think strategically, with medium to long term goals clearly identified, analyse data and problem solve in a logical manner.
