Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategic Asset Management Engineer/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and management of water infrastructure assets. You will play a key role in ensuring the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our water systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Project manage key asset management tasks and activities including but not limited to:
* Development of specific strategic and tactical plans across the lifecycle management of the Logan Water Asset Portfolio, including operational, maintenance and renewal outcomes.
* Collaboratively develop long term asset solutions with key stakeholders.
* Detailed analysis of asset, maintenance and operational data for informed decision making through clear and visual information.
* Undertake detailed risk assessments including developing risk adversity profile to develop asset management.
* Develop long term investment profiles to support business decisions.
* Provide advice and support to other areas within Water Service Delivery team.
* Work closely with other Strategic Asset Management team members as well as across other areas of Logan Water.
* Report to Strategic Asset Management Lead.
Skills and Experience
* Data Analysis and reporting.
* Overall experience and understanding of asset management principles and processes, particularly as applied in the water sector.
* Circa 10+ years experience in Service.
* Data analysis using advanced techniques, using Power BI or Excel or similar analytical tools.
* Ability to present reports, analysis to stakeholders through presentations in PowerPoint.
* Good report writing skills – being able to write plans and procedures etc in clear plain English.
* Flexibility to undertake a wide range of asset management activities at a tactical and operational level including asset condition/ performance assessment.
* Good verbal communication skills and able to communicate with managers through to field staff.
