About the role: We are seeking a qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team, providing neuropsychological assessments and support across both inpatient and community settings in the New England North West region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate assessment reports to referrers and other relevant parties, such as NCAT.
To be considered for this role, you must have: AHPRA registration as a Psychologist. General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with an area of practice endorsement in clinical neuropsychology. Completion of a postgraduate clinical neuropsychology qualification accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (or equivalent), of no less than two years' full-time duration, as displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with cognition and memory challenges in both hospital and community environments.
Where you will be working: Join a dedicated team of experienced Clinical Nurse Consultants, dementia support workers, Transitional Nurse Practitioners, and clinical neuropsychologists who regularly collaborate to prioritize patients and manage workloads, including virtual consults.
This role spans the New England North West region, offering flexibility for candidates to reside anywhere within the area.
The primary focus is on patients with cognition and memory challenges, assisting with diagnoses and providing guidance on capacity and decision-making in both community and hospital settings.
