This newly launched luxury complex features 27 stylish apartmentsâranging from studios to three bedroomsâalong with a sparkling pool, commercial kitchen, and versatile communal spaces suited for corporate retreats. The goal is to provide an unforgettable guest experience with unmatched service and comfort. The next stage of development is about to begin, which when completed will grow to 80 apartments.
Key Responsibilities:
As General Manager, you will be the key driver of guest satisfaction and operational success.
Your duties will include:
* Overseeing all property management functions, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration
* Building a collaborative culture and ensuring service standards align with 5-star expectations
* Creating and implementing approved strategies that will maximise revenue, occupancy, and guest satisfaction
* Managing recruitment, training, and leadership of the team
* Monitoring budgets, expenses, and KPIs to meet approved financial targets
* Contributing to the development of systems and processes to enhance overall operations
* Learning, staying up to date with and adapting to operating technologies and the RMS Booking systems
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior management role in 5-star hotels or luxury hospitality
* Local knowledge of North Queensland and strong community connections are highly regarded
* Leadership skills that inspire and motivate staff to achieve their best
* Demonstrated success in hitting financial targets and exceeding guest expectations
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility to work across evenings, weekends, and holidays
* A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to exceptional service
