Our modern Bonbeach care home is located in a well-established residential area, 35km south-east of Melbourne.
Closely integrated with the local community, it has neighbouring schools, shops, parks, and transport links.
The care home features 96 beds, including dementia care and high-care units.
Our primary goal focuses on the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents.

The Heart of the Role
As a Carer Companion, you will adopt a 'Person First' approach in care planning and assisting new residents and their families settle into the home and transition into an aged care setting.
You will coordinate admissions, respond to queries and concerns from residents and family members, advise on additional services available, and ensure services are delivered.
You will also complete meal service with new residents as part of settling in, escorting them to the dining room, and ensuring they understand how meal service works.

Requirements
* Min Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability.
* Passion and energy for delivering world-class care.
* Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A strong understanding of Resident Rights, and Aged Care Accreditation Standards and their Outcomes?
