About the Role:
This is a permanent full-time position and can be based at any location within the BEST footprint - within the New England North West, Far West NSW or Southern Darling Downs. BEST promotes flexible working arrangements and will consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate.
As a Senior Human Resource Advisor for BEST, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and compliant human resource operations whilst leading the Human Resources Advisor. With a focus on operational efficiency, the Senior Human Resources Advisor will provide comprehensive employee support, manage record-keeping systems, support recruitment activities, and handle general human resource functions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and reporting requirements. The Senior Human Resources Advisor will ensure the provision of high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
You will be a self-motivated and resilient individual with:
* Experience in a similar HR leadership role.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Proven experience in HR operations management, including employee relations, performance management, and HRIS administration.
* Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks as needed and maintain a high attention to detail.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both in person and remotely.
* Proficiency in recruitment and selection techniques, including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates.
* Problem-solving skills to address complex HR issues and find effective solutions.
* Relevant qualifications in Business Management or Human Resources and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Clear National Criminal History Check.
