With over 25 years of combined experience in the disability sector in Australia, LME Care is dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centered support that empowers individuals with disabilities.As the Creative Arts Program Coordinator, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our arts programs designed for individuals with varied abilities.
This role focuses on fostering creativity, self-expression, and community engagement through art while ensuring that the programs meet the needs of participants and align with LME Care's mission and goals.We believe in promoting inclusivity, choice, and independence for our clients, and we provide an environment where individuals can explore their artistic talents and achieve personal growth.If this role sounds like you, and you would like to know more, reach out to Nikki on or Responsibilities Develop and coordinate innovative arts programs tailored for individuals with disabilitiesEnsure programs are accessible, inclusive, and engaging for all participantsCollaborate with artists, facilitators, and community organizations to enhance the program offeringsMonitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomesFacilitate workshops and activities, guiding participants in various art formsBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholdersDocument participant progress, achievements, and program developmentsEnsure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulationsActively seek feedback from participants and families to enhance program offeringsAttend training and professional development sessions as necessaryRequirementsExperience in arts program coordination or a related fieldStrong background in visual arts, performing arts, or art educationPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)Passion for promoting creativity and expressionProficient in developing and implementing engaging arts programsProblem-solving skills and adaptability to meet participant needsBlue and Yellow Card (or willing to get one)Current first aid and CPR certificationValid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicleScheduleArt Program runs Tuesdays 9am -1pm.Ideally you'll like to add one or two more creative programs, running 9am-1pm throughout the week.RemunerationSCHADS Award - Social & Community ServicesBenefitsEmployee Assistance Program - CounselingTraining & DevelopmentOpportunity for Growth and DevelopmentsWork for a Company that Values their EmployeesGreat Incentive Programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
