Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit.

The Orange region is often referred to as the gateway to Country New South Wales with acclaimed wineries, fine dining, annual festivals and charming heritage villages making for an unparalleled work-life balance.Who we're looking for Reporting to the Manager, Sustaining Capital Projects the position of Superintendent, Project Services sits within the Site Projects functional department for the Cadia Mine.
The primary purpose for this position is to coordinate and manage Project Services activities to ensure efficient and timely specific project delivery to align with the Cadia mine operation and Newmont's overall objectives.
Key responsibilities for the role will include: • leading a Project Services team encompassing cost control, scheduling, contracts management and administration support• be an active member of department leadership team and uphold Newmont's standards and Values through aligned behaviour• planning detailed project schedules, budgets` spend and monitoring delivery progress• executing procurement processes including acquisition of materials, services and logistics • adhering to Newmont's safety and environmental regulations ensuring full compliance• formulating and maintaining robust project control systems and processes• providing project updates to stakeholders including all performance metrics reporting and forecasting• leading procurement processes including tendering processes, contract preparation, contract management and contract variations.
To be considered for the position you will ideally have:• proven experience in large infrastructure/mining/construction project delivery • solid leadership capability of service delivery teams • project management skills including procurement, logistics, safety and environmental, project control systems/processes and risk management • practical applications skills in project management methodologies and tools including SAP • demonstrated financial acumen including knowledge of budgets and cost control metrics• ability to communicate confidently across leadership and multi-disciplinary teams• full and unrestricted eligibility for employment in Australia.
This residential position will be offered at the Cadia Valley Operations and will suit applicants living in Orange or near surrounds in New South Wales.
Domestic relocation will be considered for the ideal candidate.
