Join our team as a Concierge at The Star Brisbane.
Our breathtaking resort, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will commence a staged opening in 2024, bringing a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre to the river city.
The Concierge, who reports to the Chief Concierge, offers the unique opportunity to create lasting and remarkable first and final impressions for our guests. Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere while ensuring the flawless delivery of products and services in a safe manner is of utmost importance in this role.

A few of your responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the Concierge Desks, actively fostering a positive guest experience and a welcoming atmosphere
2. Ensure the effectiveness of the Concierge Desk, Bell Desk and Porte Cochere operation with a strong focus on enhancing guest experiences
3. Demonstrate our dedication to service excellence by effectively implementing and delivering The Star's core values
4. Create and maintain relationships with both internal and external suppliers to optimise the guest experience at The Star Brisbane
5. Driving excellence through guest service and assisting in handling guest feedback
What we will be looking for:
6. Previous hotel experience in a 5-star property
7. Leadership experience within a hotel environment
8. High level customer service experience
9. Proven ability to deliver personalised recommendations to guest enquiries and requests
About you:
You will be an experienced Concierge professional who has worked in a five-star property or integrated resort, with a keen emphasis on the guest journey. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining high standards, while ensuring an immersive and unforgettable experience for our guests. Furthermore, you will exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of Brisbane's attractions and communities, acquired through your network and relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
As we move to The Star Brisbane, you will be critical in leading the team through change. You will have a demonstrated understanding of relevant industry regulatory requirements with experience embedding these requirements as part of your ways of working.

About us
The $ billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
