Join our story and create your own impact by developing your expertise and building solutions that help make our lives safer, smarter, and more sustainable.Join our Services EAPA team within the Services division in Australia as Service Centre Manager to help us take Sulzer to the next level.In this role you will be accountable for:Overseeing approximately 40-45 Electrical Fitters, Mechanical Fitters, Machinists, and Apprentices while providing direction to the Works Manager.Ensuring works are conducted to support customer orders and executed in accordance with the contract, schedules, and available resources.Providing continuous feedback and coaching to direct reports.Driving key operational performance indicators across the service centre such as forecasting, margin, labour utilisation, engineering expertise, quality, and safety culture.Monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year management reporting.Managing the Service Centre KPIs and ensuring alignment with corporate financial targets.Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with Senior Management in Australia.Ensuring efficient organisation and management across the service centre.To succeed in this role, you will need:A bachelor’s degree or Trade qualification in Business and/or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline within the industry.A technical background in electrical engineering/trade is essential.10+ years’ demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role.Excellent negotiation and sales support skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and work with others.Ability to motivate and challenge direct reports and give direction to the whole organisation.Additional benefits include:Phone + Laptop + Company CarAnnual salary reviewsEmployee Assistance ProgramOn-site parkingWork for a global organisation that values innovation, excellence, and a commitment to the most important part of our business - our people and our customers.Have a question about the role?
