We are seeking Specialist/Consultant Anaesthetists to join a friendly regional hospital in a beautiful coastal location. A permanent full or part time position is available.

The Consultant/Specialist will provide safe, high-quality anaesthetic services and assist with direction, service planning, and clinical governance for the Anaesthetic Team, Pre-Admission Clinic, and High Dependency Unit, overseeing staff including GP Anaesthetists.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering general and regional anaesthesia, as well as obstetric services such as epidurals and spinal anaesthesia
* Participating in the out-of-hours on-call roster

This is a 70-bed hospital and caters to a regional population of approximately 65,000 incorporating smaller rural/coastal settlements within its catchment area.

Mandatory Qualifications:
* Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Anaesthesia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* In general, this will require Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) – IMG's who have been assessed as substantially comparable will be considered.
