Join a large Federal Government Department as Delivery Manager! Your new company This large, centrally based Federal Government Department plays a critical role in Australia's national security space. Your new role As Delivery Manager, you'll be supporting the overall delivery of a key inter-agency system initiative. Your responsibilities will include: Liaising between the Program's senior management and delivery teams to ensure releases are in line with the Program's schedule and deliverables Providing input into the Program Management Plan and the development of program increments and associated schedules Development of the Release Management Plan (if required) Driving, managing and coordinating team objectives for the program increment, creating and publishing roadmaps for visibility and transparency and anticipating, recognising and resolving impediments, solving complex problems, identifying patterns and managing dependencies Providing leadership and direction to a release train and ensuring employees maintain a high-level of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise through coaching and training, and implementing and promoting a climate of change and continuous improvement Applying and maintaining a high level of knowledge on the information management system, quality assurance and change control processes to co-ordinate quality reviews of documentation and processes to ensure effective management of features and/or release train Providing support to conduct releases on time, on budget and full scope that meet or exceed buyer expectations. What you'll need to succeed 1. Demonstrated success and experience managing large complex ICT application development projects following agile principles and 'scrum' methods (over 5 years' experience). Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills to support and maintain a high performing culture where multidisciplinary teams work together to deliver quality outcomes. 3. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and manage project risks, and troubleshoot project issues 4. Knowledge and experience applying agile delivery principles and practices. 5. Relevant ICT qualifications and/or industry certifications 6.
