About the position
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with customers and their families and representatives, building meaningful connections and seeing the tangible impact of your care on their lives.
This role also provides the unique opportunity to lead a skilled team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses at a 20-bed site, Bradford Views in Coolbinia. While your focus will be on case management and leadership, the RNs and ENs will deliver direct care under your guidance and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing empathetic and effective team leadership, ensuring a supportive and empowering work environment.
* Bringing diverse experience and skills to enhance the capabilities of the nursing team and meet customer needs.
* Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing support for customers with disability-related health needs, including managing tracheostomies and ventilators (experience preferred but not essential).
* Case managing customers' holistic health needs, ensuring their goals and preferences are prioritised.
* Provide support, direction, site orientation and clinical competency based training and line management to the nursing team.
* Coordinate professional development activities for nurses including regular supervision and engagement with external clinical specialists.
* Role modeling sound clinical decision-making and promoting best practices within the team.
* Overseeing and ensuring the quality of health documentation.

This position is Permanent Full Time based at a 20 bed site at Bradford Views, a well-established 20-bed site in Coolbinia, offering a structured and supportive environment for meaningful leadership and professional growth.

What you'll need to help kick-start your journey with us:
* You are an experienced Registered Nurse with proven leadership skills and a commitment to mentoring, guiding, and developing your team.
* You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships with customers, their families, teams, and external stakeholders.
* You hold a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of post-registration experience.
* You are highly organised, adaptable, and proactive in solving problems.
* You meet the essential requirements: National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver's Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check, Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID010 or HLTAID003 minimum) and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
