About the Role
As a Mining Key Account Manager, you will spearhead relationships with key mining clients in Australia, ensuring exceptional service delivery and driving sales growth for SANY's mining equipment portfolio. This role requires a strategic sales professional with deep industry expertise, a proven sales track record, and the ability to foster long-term partnerships with Tier 1 mining operators and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to retain and expand business with key mining clients.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets for mining equipment (e.g., haul trucks, excavators, drills) and aftermarket services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including procurement, operations, and technical teams.
* Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities; adapt strategies to meet client needs.
* Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized equipment solutions and post-sales support.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements while ensuring profitability and compliance.
* Represent SANY at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen brand visibility.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mining equipment sales or key account management, preferably with Tier 1 OEMs or mining service providers.
* Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong technical aptitude to understand mining equipment applications and client requirements.
* Based in Perth or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with large-scale mining projects in Australia (iron ore, gold, lithium, etc.).
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.
* Knowledge of financing/leasing models for capital equipment.
