4 day a week opportunity, flexible with days Experience in aged care is essential Up to $40 per hour + super and salary packaging Finance Assistant - Aged Care Redstone are seeking a seasoned Finance Assistant to join the team in a medium sized NFP Aged Care provider in the SE of Melbourne on a permanent part time basis.You will play a vital role in supporting the finance manager of the home.Key Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Support budget preparation and financial reporting activities. Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing processes. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and financial information. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed. Qualifications: CA or CPA qualified ESSENTIAL Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the aged care or healthcare sector. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
