About the Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering power generation and electronic programs. You will collaborate with our sales team to specify and select the best suppliers and subcontractors for our Off-Highway/Energy Solutions Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales team in selecting, applying, and installing products in tenders, ensuring correct specification compliance.
* Review supplier and subcontractor submissions/quotations to ensure specifications are met.
* Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors for our projects.
* Provide Electronic Engineering support to sales representatives and project managers remotely or at customer sites as required.
* Develop and maintain standardised tendering tools and processes.
* Maintain strong relationships with sales, projects, and engineering teams through effective communication.
* Assist in delivering Internal Training modules.
Requirements
* A recognised Electronic Engineering qualification from Engineers Australia.
* Proficiency in CAD and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
* Detailed knowledge of electronic control systems, including PLC programming and testing.
* The ability to develop, implement, and drive compliance within engineering processes.
* A strong interest and knowledge in power generation and renewable energy.
* An excellent working knowledge of AS3000 and relevant Australian standards.
* Outstanding problem-solving skills across technical, application, and other issues.
* Strong time management and administrative skills.
* Knowledge and experience with MTU products is highly desirable.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
