What’s in it for you?
The Service Delivery Centre provides an alternative delivery model in a regional location within Australia, decreasing risk to our clients, and increasing efficiency by standardising repeatable processes. Employees within the hub will work with EY project teams across Australia to support large-scale client engagements.
The Corporate Tax Analyst will provide a range of tax compliance support including, but not limited to, activities such as analytical review of tax calculations and returns, mapping accounting data to apply tax rules, and review of transactions for tax sensitive items.
Key responsibilities
1. Preparing tax mapping and rules to apply to accounting data based on pre-defined inputs;
2. Analytical review of calculations and disclosures using PowerBI dashboards;
3. Preparation of client queries;
4. Review of outcomes applied to transactional data for tax sensitive items and anomalies;
5. Accessing client infrastructure and extracting/ managing client data
6. Answering enquiries via Outlook email or Teams
7. Creating or managing documents in Powerpoint and SharePoint
What we’re looking for

8. Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Suite (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps) welcomed but not essential
10. Analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Time management and organisational skills
12. Willingness to learn and grow, with ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a team
13. Natural aptitude for reviewing large volumes of data, with a strong attention to detail
14. Reliable and responsive with a structured and focused approach to assigned tasks
15. Strong focus on efficiency, productivity, and quality
16. Desire to have a meaningful impact and contribute to building a better working world
17. Experience in financial accounting is useful but not essential.
18. Experience in corporate income tax is useful but not essential.
