Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Processing fortnightly payroll, and ensuring lodgements to external parties are processed on time.
Efficient on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, including on-time calculation and settlement of termination payments.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and policies.
Handling payroll queries from employees and management.
Participating in the review and improvement of payroll processes.
Working collaboratively with the broader Accounting & Finance team.
Supporting end of month and end of year accounting processes.
The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Candidate Should Have
Experience with fortnightly or weekly payroll.
A strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using Synergetic (optional) and Excel (mandatory- v-lookup and pivot tables)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
