On-site parking available About our role: Located in either Melbourne (Scoresby) or Sydney (Lidcombe) and reporting to the Commercial Manager in our Yoghurts and Desserts division. We are looking for a Category Manager to work closely with the category team to 'be the voice of the shopper'.
Responsibilities include: Developing robust shopper and/or consumer insights from data sources available/required. Translating those data and insights into action plans to assist in growing our business via our brands in the marketplace. Drive the development of a category approach to all product development with an emphasis on sales launch strategy and price positioning. Work with Category, Marketing and Sales teams to integrate shopper insights with other metrics to produce clear and compelling retail strategies. Embed best practice category management principles with structured retailers and internal stakeholders. Liaise with external space resource to deliver best in class space solutions which are category led to structured and unstructured retailers. Driving range reviews, strategy days with major retailers/ P&C, developing category led presentations, liaising with sales and marketing to deliver compelling solutions for retailers. Complete category content required for field related presentations for cycle meetings, trade presenters with insight led analysis and provide actionable recommendations. Pro-actively seek continuous improvement opportunities within the business. Utilise customer data and insights to share and develop NPD insights for internal teams. Complete all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by your leader. About you: You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role. You obtain a tertiary degree in Business. Confidence ability to analyze, identify and present sales trends/data. You are proficient in Microsoft suite, reporting is essential.
