Position Overview
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers to maximise Helloworld's profitability and provide direction to the Helloworld network and travel agents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the Group General Manager Retail & Commercial Teams to implement a strategic plan for the Branded & Associate Networks.
* Deploy internal and external communication plans to ensure effective communication with stakeholders and alignment with strategy.
* Inspire and direct the Account Management team to deliver on the strategic plan.
* Provide day-to-day strategic and operational direction to the Account Managers to achieve sales target levels.
* Ensure retention and growth of existing Retail members according to business plan targets.
* Actively manage individual performance of Account Managers.
* Prepare value proposition summaries for Helloworld Members.
* Maintain and develop a thorough knowledge of all Helloworld Group products and services.
* Ensure alignment with franchise company policy, procedures and performance standards.
About You
To succeed in this role, you need:
* Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism or Bachelor's Degree.
* 5+ years of experience in the retail travel management industry.
* Experience from a travel agency network or aggregator of travel agency services is beneficial.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An effective team player with well-developed problem-solving skills.
* A proven track record of building solid relationships with stakeholders.
