What a typical week might look like as a Service Technician at GEA:
Kickstart your week every Monday where you may take on a local assignment around Melbourne, a regional job across Victoria, or interstate throughout Australia. Arriving at each customer site marks the beginning of your day, where you’ll begin methodically diagnosing issues and dismantling equipment.
After 8-10 hours, it's time to unwind at a nearby accommodation, all expenses covered. Rest up for another day of work ahead. A standard service typically spans 3-4 days at a customer’s site.
Upon completion, return to Melbourne where you have the flexibility to work remotely or join us at our office near Melbourne Airport. We prioritize work-life balance, ensuring you're home for the weekend.
While schedules may vary to meet customer needs, be assured that all your time, including travel, is compensated accordingly. Plus, overtime is rewarded for any additional hours worked each day.
Typically it takes 1-2 years to be fully trained in our specialized equipment so you’ll be provided with comprehensive training to ensure your success.
What we offer:
