Join a small local team out of their Queanbeyan branch to deliver their products to the region
Your new company
Our client is a steel manufacturer who has been operating for over 100 years. They are an Australian business with factories across the nation. They manufacture a range of products for the construction industry and are a well-known brand.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for checking and securing your load, transporting and delivering stock in a safe manner. You will also be responsible for the safety and security of your vehicle and stock whilst out on the road. You will have a good understanding of all WHS legislation and have relevant experience in the industry and be physically able to perform all duties necessary as manual unloading will be a part of the process on occasion.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
* A valid HR truck licence or above (with demonstrated experience)
* A valid CV Hiab crane ticket is preferred or the ability/willingness to obtain
* A LF high risk forklift licence (beneficial, not essential)
* White card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness (beneficial not essential)
What you'll get in return

* Be paid $35 per hour permanent pay rate plus superannuation and all industry allowances.
* If you pass your probationary period and are working well in the business after 6 months in the position, this company will consider assisting you to get your HC licence, which would increase your rate of pay.
* Work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm with the potential for overtime and occasional Saturdays.
* Work in a brand-new truck with a brand with a new Hi-ab set up.
