Job Title: Aircraft Painter
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Painter to join our team in Tamworth, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform additional duties as required to ensure the smooth running of operations.
* Removing markings/logos from the aircraft, including tail, belly, and engines, by roller painting over them.
Requirements:
* Aircraft surface refinishing certificate IV
* Preferably with AME background
* Extensive experience working in the aviation/aerospace industry, with a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
* Proficiency in spray painting aircraft, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and precision in every project.
* Full working rights in Australia, ensuring eligibility to work within the country.
* Willingness to obtain an ASIC (Airport Security Identification Card) to work within the airport premises, emphasising a commitment to compliance and security.
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster to meet the demands of the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A relevant qualification in aerospace or automotive spray painting, highlighting a strong foundation in industry-specific techniques and standards.
* Certifications in relevant safety and compliance training, underscoring a commitment to upholding industry regulations and standards.
* Evidence of completion of medical requirements (drug/alcohol and physical tests) at own cost, ensuring fitness for work and compliance with industry standards.
