InSite Remediation Services, a specialist remediation contracting company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, and Perth, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. We conduct contaminated site remediation projects across Australia, and as we continue to expand, we are looking for high-caliber professionals to help manage our increasing workload. This role can be based in our Caringbah office in Sydney, or in our Newcastle Office.Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental civil works, demolition and site decommissioning. Applicants MUST have at least 5 years experience in conducting contaminated site remediation projects in Australia and be able to demonstrate experience of project management involving soil remediation and contaminated water treatment. Preference will be given to candidates with Environmental Engineering qualifications and demonstrated experience in delivering complex site remediation projects and candidates who are currently suitable to be put on our Class A licence to supervise the removal of asbestos, and as a supervisor on our demolition licence. Management of site personnel and subcontractors is a primary capability whilst estimating and site administration experience specific to site remediation are also required.Key Responsibilities:Project Management and Delivery:Manage diverse remediation projects, optimizing time, cost, and quality outcomesDevelop comprehensive project documentation, including plans, safety protocols, and financial reportsCoordinate project resources efficiently and track financial performance against budgetsTechnical and Client Support:Prepare technical proposals and tendersProvide on-site project coordination, including field activities, sampling, and site visitsMaintain regulatory compliance across health, safety, and environmental standardsStakeholder Engagement:Cultivate relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agenciesProduce regular project status updates and invoicing documentationKey Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Project Management.At least 5 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry is essentialCompetence in Word, Excel, and TeamsBe a current supervisor on a Class A Friable Asbestos Removal Licence in NSW, A current supervisor on a restricted demolition licence in NSW (preferably both)Understanding of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, Guidelines etc associated with all states and territories of Australia.Regional and interstate travel will be required, and candidates must be adaptable to performing on-site work anywhere in Australia, often at short notice.Safety Commitment:InSite has an excellent safety record, so a strong commitment to our Work Health and Safety (WHS) culture is essential.Candidate Profile:The successful applicant will be eager to expand their knowledge and must demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
