We're not looking for your typical CFO. This is a
strategic and operational partner
role — someone who can bring financial discipline, creative problem-solving, and a hands-on attitude to fuel our clients scale-up story. You'll be working closely with the
Founder/CEO

CGO, helping shape the future as they prepare for further capital raises, expansion into new markets, and set the business up for a potential

Bring structure, smarts, and serious thinking to a

journeyOwn financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modellingLead investor relations, fundraising, and work closely with the founder on capital roundsImplement creative funding strategies — from trade finance to debt facilitiesSupport international setup: Europe expansion, OS manufacturing, complianceWork directly with tax firms across 3 countries and oversee multi-entity reportingOptimise supply chain, stockholding, and ERP decisions (Unleashed ? SAP coming)Build and improve our financial stack: Xero, Gusto, and future ERP integrationsGuide global tax planning (AUS/US), grants (EMDG etc), and health/401K oversightLead and mentor the finance team: Finance Manager, US counterpart & othersOwn performance metrics, D&D materials, and board-ready packsDrive export strategy, manage trade complexities, and keep cash flowing smartlyPartner on key commercial decisions: pricing, global expansion, and manufacturingWhat We're Looking For:
CA/CPA or equivalent with 5+ years in senior finance rolesExperience in scaling high-growth consumer brands
(FMCG, DTC, premium food & bev ideal)Entrepreneurial mindset — not just a numbers person, but a commercial thinkerConfident working across time zones (US early calls, UK late ones)Open to travel and ideally experienced in AUS & US markets (UK/Europe a bonus)Strong knowledge of banking, trade finance, and investor managementAble to work closely with the board, investors, and shareholdersEmotionally intelligent, collaborative, and not afraid to play "bad cop" when neededExperience managing legal and M&A matters (bonus)Comfortable building from scratch, running lean, and making big things happenNo corporate lifers — we need someone hands-on, scrappy, strategic, and savvyExperience building a diverse leadership teamSome manufacturing exposure is a big plusFamiliar with Coles/Woolworths dynamics is nice to haveUnderstands people, performance, and the real metrics that drive growthNot afraid to ask "why not?" and build creative workarounds when neededBrings a bit of dog — grit, drive, and conviction to lead through chaos and growthIf you're as passionate about this position as we are then please don't delay and APPLY NOW!
