About the Role
As a Pre-Assessment Officer in our Home Loan Assessment Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to assist customers with their banking needs and ensuring that banking with ANZ is accessible, simple and easy.
The Pre-Assessment Officer plays a key role in providing a consistent and efficient service to the Verification/Assessment Officers through accurate and timely completion of the required Pre-Assessment activities for Home Loan applications submitted by ANZ Brokers and Mobile lending channels.

What will your day look like?
As a Pre-Assessment Officer, you are accountable for:
* Serving as a first point of contact into the Home Loan Assessment Process.
* Performing preliminary checks and data entry of Home Loan Applications submitted by the Broker and Mobile Lending Channels.
* Classifying the applications as per required mandates, conducting Document Sufficiency Checks, Identifying and Merging Duplicate Profiles, Conducting Title Searches and managing Data Entry of applications onto ANZ's Mortgage Origination Systems.
* Managing communications with Frontline banking staff to assess applications, status, and escalations.
* Ensuring accuracy and efficiency levels are achieved as per Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
* Demonstrable experience in Banking/Financial services industry and a good understanding of the home loan products.
* High standards of analytical skills & an eye for detail is a must.
* Proficient in the use of Home Loan Systems including CAP/RLM/RLS.
* Customer Orientation skills with a strong focus on customer service.
