About the company Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia.Currently seeking four (4) Test Analysts to join their busy team for a temporary assignment until 31st December 2025.About the role As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for the planning, preparing, and executing tests, raising defects where required, coordinating bug fixes, and retesting them.In addition, your key duties are as follow: Deliver UAT artefacts and preparing for testing.Undertake quality management and testing assurance activities through the preparation and reviewing of test cases, scenarios, coverage matrices and inputs for sign off reports.Perform all testing activities and outputs through appropriate testing tools and escalating defects.Estimate effort and time requirements for testing activities.Manage the resources of testers to support the various testing phases as required.Utilise and promote the use of agile methodologies in testing.About you To be successful in this role, you must have: Familiarity with the testing tools.Ability to create detailed test cases, and test scripts, and execute them effectively.Skills in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and collaborating with other team members to resolve issues.High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested.Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with stakeholders.Critical and analytical thinking to understand complex systems and identify potential issues.Focus on user experience to ensure the application meets real-world needs and performs effectively.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Benefits Temporary assignment until 31st December 2025 Full-time hours, Monday to Friday $55.24 per hour + super Immediate start pending clearances Multiple positions available across different locations: Geelong VIC Melbourne VIC Gosford NSW Brisbane QLD *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete federal police check ** At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, women, people living with a disability and the LGBTIQA+ community.You can read more about our commitment to diversity and inclusion at https://www.chandlermacleod.com/diversity-and-inclusion
