Heyday Clinic has three beautiful practice locations based in thriving Warragul, another in Korumburra, and St Kilda Road in Melbourne. All right smack bang in the centre of town. Both the Gippsland locations are located in the fastest growing regional areas in Australia, and there is a vibrant vibe in both clinics, and we are GROWING! We are currently comprised of 5 clinicians and admin support and co-located with other health professionals in Warragul and Korumburra.
We specialise in workplace psychology (burnout, performance, critical incident management, acute stress, RTW) counselling and assessment as well as counselling and intervention for both adults and adolescents.
We subscribe to the idea of "but first, be human" and we have built strong relationships locally with referrers, which means that there are good and supportive teams around the folks that we see, and we value being part of that community. Good therapeutic intervention goes without saying, and we value a practical approach and creative thinking to meeting people's needs.
Essentially, bring yourself to work and have authentic human connection. We focus on customer service for the individuals as well as their referring teams, which means we see people in the clinic, via telehealth, and home visits (with strict safety protocols). So, there is some provision for work from home as well as in clinic.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individual clients.
* Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, to support clients' mental health and wellbeing.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and comply with all relevant professional and legal requirements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services through feedback, training, and research.
We do not see those folks requiring acute support or case management in our setting (so no after hours/on call expectation), but risk assessment and safety planning skills are a must because we must be prepared for the unexpected.
