The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Scheduler to join our Resources & Industrials division based out of our Tomago site in New South Wales.
This role is part of a fast-paced & collaborative environment working towards solving operational & logistics challenges.
Please note that this role is a 12 hour shift on a 7 Day On / 7 Day Off roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high quality logistical and administrative support to assist in the day-to-day provision of Resources & Industrials, TSS Tomago NSW.
* Be responsible for allocation of fleet operational tasks associated with all freight tasks, this role ensures the efficient and prompt completion of all related operational responsibilities, & where necessary administrative tasks.
* Customer transport requirements are met within contract scope.
* Manage customer delivery changes and liaise with customers on delivery issues
* Allocate drivers to maximise fleet utilisation.
* Monitor compliance of drivers timesheets, Safe driving plans and log book records
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A sound knowledge of the Road Traffic Act as it relates to heavy vehicles.
* A sound knowledge of dangerous Goods rules and regulations.
* A sound knowledge of NHVR guidelines.
* Sound knowledge of site and customer PPE requirements and its safe use and maintenance
* Previous working experience as a Transport/Fleet Scheduler
