About the Role This is a Fixed Term Position until the 1st of December 2025 This influential and exciting role sits within the DTP Major Projects, Road team. It is the primary role leading the integration of the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) into the transport network, including the delivery and handover phases of the project. Reporting to the Director, Major Projects Road (WGTP/NELP), the Manager Project Integration is responsible for leading a team which provides informed advice and decisions on project scope, governance, change and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role acts as the client interface providing oversight and coordination between the delivery agency and DTP’s wide range of stakeholders, to ensure that project objectives and network outcomes are met. Position Outcomes / Accountabilities As client interface, manage and support the development/delivery/transition of significant, multi-disciplinary, integrated, complex high value and high-risk major infrastructure projects and programs ensuring project objectives and benefits are delivered. Liaise with delivery agencies and stakeholders to resolve complex interface issues that may impact the effective development, delivery and transition of major infrastructure projects and programs Ensure the delivery of investment programs align with DTP benefit management framework. Effective monitoring of the allocated projects to ensure that infrastructure provided does not compromise safety, existing service delivery and is adequate to support planned future network requirements Manage key working relationships within DTP, VIDA and other Government departments, and other key stakeholders and establish ongoing initiatives to enhance these relationships, including alerting senior management to potential issues. Provide specialist high level advice and subject matter expertise during project business case development, procurement, delivery of major road projects and asset transfer back to the Department (asset owner, operator and maintainer). Able to work independently and as well as within a team to manage and identify project related interface risks and support development of options / solutions that are timely, accurate and responsive Ensure close links with Engineering and Assets Division to ensure learnings and continuous improvement are captured and implemented for future projects, via the establishing of clear processes related to development, delivery and transition.
