Our extensive rail industry knowledge and expertise, as a registered service provider and partner of choice to Australian rail entities and government departments, has resulted in our team working on many significant and complex landmark projects over the last 20 years.To continue to meet the needs of our clients, retain our great track record and reputation for delivery, and allow for the demands of a long pipeline of infrastructure works across Australia, we are looking to further enhance our team going into the future with suitably qualified and experienced individuals.We are seeking expressions of interest from a range of professionals and engineers with demonstrated experience in Railway Telecommunications in an operational engineering environment: including telecommunications design, integration of telecommunications and radio systems used on railway networks, diagnosis and maintenance of railway telecommunications systems, operational requirements, knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g. EN 50129 & IEC 61508), maintenance, testing and commissioning, handover; and a thorough understanding of future technologies. We advocate for our individuals to provide substantiated innovative thinking and solutions to the clients we work for.Together with a Degree in engineering (Electronics and/or Telecommunications) or equivalent engineering qualification, you will ideally have:Rail Industry Workers (RIW)RPEQ (or CPEng and eligible for RPEQ)5+ years of experience in railway telecommunications engineering and/or designExperience in the following would be highly regarded:GSM-R, TETRA, Fibre Optic Networks, ETCS, CBTC or IoTClient-facing delivery requires you to have advanced communication proficiency and techniques, and the ability to lead.
