Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll work as part of our skilled electrical team to ensure the smooth running of our equipment and systems. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, perfect for a proactive and technically minded individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.You’ll work a 2/2/3 roster, offering a great work-life balance with a long weekend every other weekend. Shifts are 12 hours, and the role includes an on-call component to support our operations as needed. You’ll contribute to maintaining optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability across our site, all while adhering to regulations, industry standards, and company policies.If you’re passionate about problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!Responsibilities Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, components, and systems. Work with PLC and SCADA-based systems, network cabling (fibre and copper), variable speed drives, large generators, LV power distribution, and instrumentation. Interpret electrical schematics to ensure effective troubleshooting and maintenance. Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Uphold safety standards and contribute to our Zero Harm culture. Role Requirements Previous industrial electrical experience. Exposure to PLC and SCADA systems (desirable). High voltage experience (desirable). A system-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment. A respectful, empathetic, and outcomes-focused approach, paired with a strong work ethic. Willingness to participate in shift cover, weekends, and overtime as required. A safe, driven, reliable, and can-do attitude, with a commitment to teamwork. A current driver’s licence. Full-time working rights in Australia.
