Our focus is on Positive Behaviour for Learning with our school rules being: safe, respectful, learner. For students in Prep – Year 10, we deliver the Australian Curriculum using students' Curriculum Plans to guide their individual educational needs. Students in senior schooling access Certificate 1 level Vocational Courses, and Year 11 and 12 students have curriculum plans developed to achieve the Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement.About the Role:As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the Principal.Responsibilities include: Work within well-defined guidelines to provide advice and offer solutions to key stakeholders on business-related problems (e.g., human resources, finance, and facilities management).Provide support and leadership in the provision of a range of executive and administrative support services, interpret departmental policies, and oversee training and professional development for school support staff.Contribute to financial planning processes including developing, planning, monitoring, and reviewing the annual school budget, regularly reporting to the school management team.Provide facilities management advice and project management, evaluate new work and renovation projects in collaboration with the Principal, and manage and review the Minor Works and grounds maintenance budgets.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
