PPS Water Group is seeking a highly capable and experienced Construction Manager to join our growing team on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth to Kalgoorlie.

If you're passionate about people, process, and delivery, this is your opportunity to make an impact.Role OverviewAs a senior onsite leader, the Construction Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and quality project execution.
This includes managing schedules, budgets, and resources, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.You'll serve as a mentor to site teams and site supervisors, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a deep understanding of construction management principles.Key ResponsibilitiesLead site teams across remote areas, ensuring construction aligns with scope, schedule, and safety standards.Report progress, variations, and deliverables to the Project Manager and client.Oversee daily operations, including planning, logistics, equipment, and workforce rostering.Implement site procedures and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.Mentor site supervisors and manage performance development.Champion safety through JSEAs, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.Maintain construction registers and asset tracking systems.Manage resources to support cost control and identify scope changes.Promote continuous improvement and maintain compliance with all standards.What You'll Bring8+ years proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager on major infrastructure projects.Background in civil construction, earthworks, and piping.Demonstrated leadership of large site teams and remote operations.Strong understanding of WHS, environmental regulations, and risk management.Ability to manage resources, budgets, and schedules in high-pressure environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.Tech-savvy and proficient in digital tools for reporting and site management.Construction White Card and valid Driver's Licence.Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screening.National Police Clearance (desirable).About PPS:PPS Water Group delivers comprehensive project solutions across Australia, specialising in the resources sector and focusing on safe, efficient infrastructure for pipeline, dewatering, borefields and pumping needs.
