This will build on our nationally recognized unique cultural approach to the challenges of recovery-oriented service delivery to redesign our service system.About the rolePrimary Objective: Provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to the Barwon Health Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services in order to enable teams to provide courteous, efficient and clinically effective care for people with major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues. There are Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Teams located throughout the Geelong Region at a number of locations and travel to each of these locations will be required as part of this role in order to provide administration cover. This position will cover leave for administration assistants based at the teams/programs within Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services.Key Duties include:Entry of data, print and compile routine reports from relevant databases such as, but not exclusive to The Care Manager (TCM), BOSS, Best Practice, RAPID and iPMS in accordance with Barwon Health requirements for use in patient care and clinical and health services analysis.Make electronic calendar bookings for rooms, cars and equipment as requested.Accurate labelling and scanning of client documentation into electronic systems.Participate in the orientation and training of new staff, when required.Promptly answer telephones and provide courteous response to all customers.Courteous reception of people arriving for appointments, notification to staff of their arrival and communication regarding delays or changes required.About the cultureYou will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional and dedicated team who take pride in providing high quality services.
