About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Older Persons Mental Health Service.
You will be responsible to the Nursing Director of Older Persons Mental Health and the Principal Occupational Therapist for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of quality Occupational Therapy services for residents/clients within the Older Persons Mental Health Service of NALHN.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direction, supervision, and support to AHP2 and AHP1 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health assistants, and students.
* Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, liaising directly with the medical and nursing staff of NALHN and with other community agencies.
Requirements:
* Hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
